Straight up – training re-cap

Fitness and drills for an hour before a couple of good games.

In between we talked about putting on a “straight up” force with the aim of preventing hucks.

Key points:

  • Force around the front, positioning your body in line with the throwers right shoulder
  • Mark cutters underneath on the backhand side
  • Mark handlers close and make them cut upfield
